PATTY J. LACOAX, 81, widow of Rev. H. Leon Lacoax, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. Survivors include: daughter, Marquita (David) Merchant, of Markle; brother, Wayne Lewis, of Indianapolis; sister, Mary Peters, of Arthur, IL; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held Sept. 3, 2010, at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, with Rev. Mike Harris officiating. Interment was at the Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
