JUANITA HOLDZKOM, 83, wife of Rev. Kenneth Holdzkom, retired pastor, and mother of Rev. Stephen Holdzkom, pastor at Lapel Ford Street UMC, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 11 a.m. at the Madison St. UMC, 1400 S. Madison St., Muncie, with Rev. Gordon Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 6 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, 415 E. Washington St., Muncie or after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Kenneth Holdzkom, Muncie; one son, Stephen Holdzkom, (wife, Deborah), Lapel; two daughters, Lois Elaine Holdzkom, Brownsburg and Marianne Holdzkom, (husband, Albert Churella), Marietta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Rebecca Holdzkom and Matthew Holdzkom; one brother, Forrest Hurst, (wife, Martha), Carmel and several nieces and nephews.
