LESTER C. ELLIS, 90, of Brownstown, Ind. , retired Local Pastor of the Indiana Conference, died Wednesday afternoon, July 14, 2010 Seymour, Ind. He had worked for the United States Postal Service before becoming a minister. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, at Brownstown United Methodist Church, 110 North Poplar Street in Brownstown with the Rev. Damon Soper officiating. Burial will take place at the Uniontown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, 320 North High Street in Brownstown and from 1 p.m. until time of service on Sunday at the church. Survivors include: his wife, Ruth Campbell; three children, Tom, Nancy and Diane; five stepchildren; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
