THELMA G. JOHNSON, mother of retired pastor the Rev. Beverly Biehr of Valparaiso, Ind. (former NIC), died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Charles City, Iowa. A memorial service was held July 11 at the Trinity UMC in Charles City with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City. Survivors include: four children, the Rev. Beverly Biehr of Valparaiso, Ind., Barbara Robin Jones of Chicago, Ill., Erwin Johnson of Charles City, Iowa and Cindee Schnekloth of Eldridge, Iowa; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren.
