SARAH YARBROUGH EVANS, mother of the Rev. James Evans, pastor of Crescent Avenue UMC in Fort Wayne (former NIC), died May 28, 2009 in Valparaiso, Ind. A memorial service was held June 5 at the First UMC in Valparaiso. A second memorial service was held at First UMC in Mishawaka, Ind., June 6. Survivors include: Margie Miller and son-in-law the Rev. Lloyd H. Miller, retired (former NIC), of Valparaiso, The Honorable Sarah Barker of Morgantown, Ind., Dr. Lora Stout of Lathrup Village, Minn., the Rev. James M. Evans, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Joe Evans of North Wales, Pa., and Amy Stant of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Condolences can be sent the Rev. James M.
