Ways to Pray for Bishop Mike Coyner

Pray that Bishop Mike’s heart will be directed like a water stream by the Lord who will turn it wherever the Lord pleases. (Proverbs 21:1)

Pray for the Bishop to be surrounded by wise leaders who give wise counsel. Ask the Lord to remove any foolish counselors from the Bishop’s confidence. (Proverbs 24:5)

Ask the Lord to help Bishop Mike pursue godliness and the unfailing love of the Lord so that he will find life, godliness, and honor. (Proverbs 21:21)

Beseech God to give our bishop true humility and fear of the Lord that it may lead to riches, honor and long life. (Proverbs 22:4)

Ask for the bishop to have the courage to boldly preach the word of God. Pray that he would be persistent whether the time is favorable or not. Ask that he will patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage us with good teaching. (2 Timothy 4:2)

Pray that the bishop would boast in nothing except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Galatians 6: 14)

May the Lord send them help from God’s sanctuary and strengthen them from Jerusalem. May God remember all of their gifts and look favorably upon their offerings. May God grant their heart’s desires and fulfill all of their plans. May we shout for joy when we hear of their victories, flying banners to honor our God.
