- Eligible applicants are clergy and/or clergy spouses who meet the following guidelines. Application must be completed by the clergy person.
- Currently under appointment
- Status of an elder, deacon, provisional elder, provisional deacon1 whose primary appointment is a local church or a full-time local pastor
- Participated in the David Bell two day, “Extravagant Generosity” workshop (Clergy and Lay Team members must attend the second day to meet grant requirements. Clergy spouse is only required to participate in the first day to meet grant requirements.)
- Completion of the David Ramsey or another faith-based financial program
- Development of an annual budget
- Implementation of a family spending plan for a minimum of three consecutive months
- Submission of the annual budget and the three month spending plan to the Financial Representative (Rejuvenate will recommend the Financial Representative) Note: Financial Representative will confirm three month spending plan has been followed. The budget is to reflect clergy debt and spouse's debt.
- Agrees to implement the financial principles learned in personal and professional life
- Practices the discipline of financial management and planning
- Clergy and/or spouse has aggregate education debt in excess of $10,000. Grant match will range from $2,500 - $12,500. If the clergy spouse chooses not to participate in the requirements, then only the clergy person's debt is considered. Debt occurring as a result of family members, other than the clergy and/or spouse, is ineligible.

- Is not or has never been enrolled in the UM PIP or any other pension fund program

- Participated in the David Bell two day, “Extravagant Generosity” workshop (Clergy and Lay Team members must attend the second day to meet grant requirements.)
- Completion of the David Ramsey or another faith-based financial program
- Development of an annual budget including the establishment of an emergency fund.2
- Submission of the annual budget and the three month spending plan to the Financial Representative (Rejuvenate will recommend the Financial Representative) Note: Financial Representative will confirm three month spending plan has been followed. The budget is to reflect clergy debt and spouse's debt.
- Agrees to implement the financial principles learned in personal and professional life
- Practices the discipline of financial management and planning
- Currently does not have access to significant funds that can be used for an emergency purpose
- Available funds will be matched at the conclusion of three months

1 Provisional elders and provisional deacons are eligible to apply for and receive grants upon completion of guidelines. Ordination is not a criteria for grant distribution.
2 If an emergency occurs, funds may be withdrawn. The institution maintaining the funds will provide guidance as to what constitutes an emergency
DISCLOSURE OF FINANCIAL INFORMATION: Any financial information submitted by clergy to Rejuvenate will be reviewed by a sub-committee who has signed a Covenant of Confidentiality document.
Rejuvenate will not disclose any confidential information to District Superintendents nor to the Bishop of the Indiana Conference.
Funds will be distributed as grant funds are matched through the following sources: development gifts (donors), voluntary congregation contributions, workshop participants (registration fees) and judicatory support.
Provisional elders and provisional deacons are eligible to apply for and receive grants upon completion of guidelines. Ordination is not a criteria for grant distribution.
