Hathaway, Beverly 'Joan'
BEVERLY 'JOAN' HATHAWAY, 78, of Goshen, widow of the late Rev. Lewis A. Hathaway, an Elder in the Indiana Conference, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Garrett, Ind. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and active in missions. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 28 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 South Main Street in Goshen. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 29 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 502 North Main Street, in Goshen. The Rev. Michael Tarner will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Survivors include: two daughters, Teresa Wilhelm of Garrett and Trinda Copeland of Cedar Lake; a son, Jim Hathaway of Muncie, 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Rev. Lewis A. Hathaway; a son, Max Hathaway and a grandson, Ira.
