INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Conference Health Ministries/Parish Nurse (FCN) Ministries Team will hold a one-day seminar titled “Religion & Health – How to Pull Together” Friday, Oct. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 7995 E. 21st Street in Indianapolis.
Keynoter for the event will be Scott Morris, M.D., M.Div., Founder and CEO of the Church Health Center of Memphis.
Other speakers include Indiana State Senator Patricia Miller, chairwoman of the State Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services. She also serves as the Executive Director for the Confessing Movement within The United Methodist Church, and Gary Varvel, Political Cartoonist at The Indianapolis Star. His work is nationally syndicated. Cost of the event is $25.
