Clergy, lay member portrait pictures to be taken during annual conference session

Lifetouch Church Services will be taking individual clergy and lay member portrait pictures this year at the Indiana Annual Conference Session. Each member having his or her picture taken will receive a complimentary 8 x 10 inch photo and a printed Indiana Conference Directory. The Lifetouch studio will be set up in room 232, in the Indiana Convention Center, close to the conference session registration area.  No appointment is necessary.

Studio hours will be Wednesday, June 5, 5 to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, June 6, 9 a.m. to 5p.m.; Friday, June 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, June 8, 8 a.m. to noon.

Denman Award nominations deadline April 27

DenmanThe Harry Denman Evangelism Award recognizes three people whose life and ministry exemplifies the teaching of Christ and the Great Commission. This can involve personal witnessing, speaking and inspiring individuals or a local church to be actively involved in helping people to experience the transforming love of God through Jesus Christ. Laity Manuscript Contest deadline May 6

Following the theme of Indiana’s 2013 Annual Conference, the theme for this year’s manuscript contest is, “How do we develop people to be world changers?” This contest is open to all lay people in the Conference. For more information and entry procedure, click here.

Courtesy cart drivers need for Annual Conference Session

The 2013 Indiana Annual Conference Sessions Implementation Team needs volunteer drivers to drive the golf carts in the convention center for June 6-8, Thursday-Saturday during the annual conference session.
