INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Annual Conference Session Implementation Team continues to work on plans for the next session of the Indiana Annual Conference June 6-8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Downtown Indianapolis. Here is important information related to the session:

Hotels

Hotel reservations are now open online. Go to inumc.org/ac13 then click on “Annual Conference Housing.” Enter the dates you plan to arrive and depart and hit the search button to bring up the hotel list. Make your selection and reserve rooms with a credit or debit card. The conference is using these hotels in conjunction with the convention center.

For more economical room rates, please contact the Red Roof Inn in Greenwood (south of Indianapolis) off I-65 at 317-887-1515 and ask for the special INUMC rate.

Sanctioned events

If your group wants to sponsor an event in conjunction with the annual conference session, it must be registered with the Indiana Annual Conference. Official Sanctioned Events occur one day before, during or one day after the conference session June 6-8.

These events are recognized ministry team, are outside the formal Indiana Annual Conference Session Implementation Team and would like to use Conference Communication and/or registration process for promotion of an event. Requirements and registration for Officially Sanctioned Events must be registered with the Indiana Annual Conference by Feb. 15.

Reports to Session

Reports to the annual conference session by conference boards, committees, teams and related institutions are an opportunity to share your group’s story with the members and guests of the annual conference session. Reports to the annual conference need to include a written report, narrative budget, budget spreadsheet and preferably a video presentation. These reports will be shared by the annual conference and will be distributed to elected members of the annual conference and online at inumc.org/ac13.

Instructions and guidelines for reports will be sent to conference boards, committees, teams and related institutions and are available online at inumc.org/ac13. All electronic reports and videos need to be submitted no later than Feb. 23 to Ruth Ellen Needler in the Indiana Conference Center.
