Volunteers needed to stuff annual conference packets

Volunteers are needed to help conference staff stuff conference packets and work during registration. Here is the information: Packet stuffing – Wednesday, June 8, from 8 a.m. to noon – Ball State campus, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Irving Gym 2, Registration – Wednesday, June 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and/or Thursday, June 9, from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ball State campus, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Irving Gym 2.

Stump preaching adds to vitality of annual conference session

You’re invited to the Creation Care Breakfast at Annual Conference on Thursday

If you are concerned about God’s Creation and would like to learn more about what Indiana United Methodist churches are doing for Creation Care, join our team for breakfast at annual conference at Ball State University in Muncie.

The breakfast will be held Thursday, June 9 at 7:15 a.m. at the Atrium Food Court in the Studio Room. This will be a time for networking and sharing as we obey God’s urgent call to care for the earth. For more info on the conference creation care network contact the Rev. Conference members need to check in at registration before balloting

Voting members of the Indiana Annual Conference need to remember to check in at registration before balloting begins. Blank ballots are in the registration packets. Members, both lay and clergy, need to have ballots in order to vote.

No ballots will be distributed during balloting sessions. The first ballot will be taken at the Laity and Clergy sessions at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.

Scouting breakfast at annual conference scheduled for Friday

Scouting Ministries and NAUMS will host a breakfast on Friday, June 10, 7:30 a.m. at the shelters outside the football stadium. Menu is steak and eggs and Christmas hash, cooked by real, live Scouters.
