Eighteen members of four of the seven United Methodist churches that make up the Cluster for Creative Leadership in southeast Indiana participated in a “Working in the Community” day April 2. Members of Aurora First, Mount Sinai, Mount Tabor and Rising Sun United Methodist churches worked at the YES Home and for LifeTime Resources’ clients.

At the YES Home volunteers cleaned the picnic shelter and painted the serving table. They also prepared a flower bed around the picnic shelter. At the homes of four LifeTime Resources’ clients, they performed the necessary spring yard work to prepare their homes for summer.

After completing their volunteers work, six members met at Aurora First UMC for a brief time of prayer for all the churches and residents in Dearborn and Ohio Counties.
