DAYTON, Ohio - Dr. Michael Slaughter, senior pastor of Ginghamsburg UMC in Tipp City, Ohio, will be teaching "The Missional Church" (CR112) at United Theological Seminary in Dayton from June 22-26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day This course focuses on the church as missional community and may include pastoral leadership, personal disciplines, social engagement, mission and evangelism and equipping the laity for effective ministry.

Slaughter also will be serving as Faculty Consulting Mentor of a new Doctor of Ministry program, "The Missional Church," to begin in August of 2009.
