WILLIAM "BILL" BUTLER, part-time local pastor (former SIC), died Feb. 26, 2009. A memorial service was held March 2 in Linton, Ind. LOIS DELL, 79, mother of the Rev. Cyndi Alte, director of congregational health at Clarian Health in Indianapolis (former SIC), died Feb. 20, 2009 at Mason Ohio. Survivors include: husband Bob Dell; children Barb Rider, the Rev. Cyndi Alte and Mike Dell, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service was held in Montgomery, Ohio on Feb. 28. PHYLLIS DICKEN, widow of the late Rev. John Dicken and mother of the Rev. Mark Dicken, (Newburgh UMC - former NIC), died March 1, 2009. DAVID EUGENE (GENE) DUNFEE, father-in-law to Royce Ruckman (CEO of the North Indiana United Methodist Foundation), died Feb. 6, 2009.
