St. Joseph UMC in Fort Wayne is now home to the North Indiana Conference's disaster response trailer. The trailer, pictured here, holds all the supplies a disaster response team needs when responding to a weather-related disaster, as well as items needed to aid the victims, such as flood buckets with cleaning supplies, health kits for personal hygiene, water and meal rations. When the trailer is not out with a team responding to a disaster, it is available to visit United Methodist churches to help promote volunteers in mission.

The North Indiana Conference Disaster Response team is currently recruiting new members. These teams are composed of volunteers who are willing to be trained to respond to disasters.
