This past fall more than 200 United Methodists met at the site of the Old City First United Methodist Church ruins in downtown Gary, Ind. During the service of hope and resurrection led by Indiana Area Bishop Mike Coyner, Calumet District Superintendent Michelle Cobb distributed packets of flower seeds asking participants to plant them with a plan to bring them back to the downtown church ruins in the spring.

It's now spring and time to plant those flowers. That planting will take place on Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. CT.
