INDIANAPOLIS – Some 25 CROP Hunger Walks will be held across Indiana this fall from Sept. 14 through Nov. 8, beginning in Lake County and Muncie and ending in Evansville.
Numerous United Methodist congregations across the state participate in this Church World Service sponsored activity. A complete list of walks is available online connecting links can be found at www.cwsglobal.org.
Goshen and Wabash County held walks this past spring.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by United Methodist ecumenical partner Church World Service and organized by local groups to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world. Currently, more than 2,000 communities across the United States join in more than 1,600 CROP Hunger Walks each year.
