Indiana Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits adds New Health Plan, sets rates for 2016
August 20, 2015
The Indiana Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits has added a third health plan which our participants may choose for 2016. This most recent addition is a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account. Several participants have requested this option, which allows a person to save additional dollars towards long-term health expenses. The H1500, High Deductible Plan, joins the C2000 (Consumer Driven Health Plan) and the B1000 (Preferred Provider Option Plan) as Conference choices for 2016. A description and comparison of each of these plans may be viewed in the presentation found here. The Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits also set rates for the three Conference plans for 2016. There will be no increase in rates for either the B1000 or C2000 plans for 2016. Rates will remain the same for both the church/employer and the participant as in 2015. In addition, the rates for the new H1500 plan will the same as the rates for the C2000 plan in 2016.
