Several passionate individuals spoke at the Missions Luncheon this afternoon about projects led by INUMC communities around the world. Rev. David Penalva and Stacy Penalva were present to share their story - the story of Vida Nueva Ministries in Indianapolis. The ministry is serving immigrant families in the area, providing a safe, culturally sensitive environment where participants can experience the love of God. They value family and connectedness, and strive to provide that environment for those in need.

“We believe the first generation Hispanic students should have and experience the hope and love of Christ,” Rev. David said.

The luncheon highlighted several other ministries working toward the same goal: to share the story of Jesus Christ and His love with communities in need around the world.
