Job Opportunities

Mt. Olive UMC, Marion - Pre-School Teachers

Mt Olive Preschool has always been blessed with great teachers but sometimes God has them move on. Please share this with friends and family who love children or have any certifications in education.

Mt Olive Preschool is a developmentally appropriate learning environment providing best practices in early childhood education, which allows children to grow and stretch their God given spiritual, social-emotional, physical and cognitive skills. Our ministry’s goal is to help every child, even challenging ones, to grow in self-control and practice making choices as they head to a formal education.

Our preschool council is seeking collaborative teachers to work with children 3, 4, and 5 years old who want to grow their expertise in early childhood through the use of curriculum studies and appropriate tools while partnering with parents in bringing out the best each child has to offer.

We want Christian individuals who can share their love of Jesus and also demonstrate a proven ability to be a team player. A high school degree is mandatory. A CDA, some early childhood education, or other teaching license is preferred.

However, we are seeking individuals who have an interest in developing best practices in early childhood education and we are willing to provide additional training and support, as necessary. Our goal is to raise the level of early childhood education in our community.

For more information about this opportunity, please contact Mt. Olive United Methodist Church at 765 384-7938 or email DeShawn Wert, director at deshawnw@mtoliveumc.com
