ENTERING GOD’S PRESENCE WITH SONG
Psalm 100 “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord”
In Psalm 100 we’re told to “Sing to the Lord and worship Him with joy; come before Him with happy songs.” Dan Blosser, Director of Music, Christ Church United Methodist Church, Louisville, will lead in exploring the Methodist faith and theology in the Wesleyan traditions through the hymns we sing. Dr. Blosser will help the participants dig deeper into our musical heritage.
Enjoy and evening of music performance and congregational singing while exploring how singing praise to God lifts your soul to heaven. Lynda Payne, Music Associate at Christ Church will assist Dr. Blosser.

Time and space will be given to thinking and talking about the dramatic story of the Christian tradition, how Christians relate to the other Abrahamic traditions, and how God calls us into the world to make a difference in the lives of others. For more information, and to apply for Open Table, go to: www.evansville.edu/opentable/. Open Table is made possible in part by a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment.
