The Alternative: Most of what United Methodists believe about poverty is wrong
Broadway United Methodist Church has organized a discussion with facilitators De’Amon Harges, Rev. Dr. Rachel Metheny of Congress Street UMC, and Rev. Duane Carlisle of Kokomo Main Street UMC. The event will be held Saturday, February 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EST), Kokomo Main Street UMC. The discussion will encompass the narrative of “The Alternative: Most of what you believe about poverty is wrong” by Mauricio Miller. Each guest will receive a copy of the book. Lunch will be provided. There are no registration costs, but donations are encouraged.
