God’s Renewed Creation – UMC Bishops’ Challenge
In the fall of 2009, the Council of Bishops of the United Methodist Church issued a pastoral letter titled “God’s Renewed Creation: Call to Hope and Action.” They asked if people of good will around the world will confront global threats to God’s good creation? The study challenges participants to look at their congregations and communities and to take actions that will contribute to a healthier and more peaceful planet. The UMC Bishops have made their pledges and now we are challenged to do the same. See www.hopeandaction.org. Amy Barnes facilitating.
