Bishop Coyner announces Confirmation Rally set for Saturday, March 12, 2011
The annual Bishop’s Confirmation Rally date for 2011 has been set for Saturday, March 12 at a place yet to be announced. This is a slight change from the typical date which has been the first Saturday of March. The reason for this change in 2011 is twofold: there is a large conference for youth workers being held in the Chicago area on March 5, which might draw away many of our local church youth workers on that date and the Our Life Together Retreat for our clergy will be Feb. 28-March 1, which is just a few days ahead of March 5.
Please note this date change to March 12 and plan on bringing your youth and youth leaders to the Bishop’s Confirmation Rally. This event keeps growing in numbers with 600 in attendance this year, so we hope that providing this date early will help everyone plan ahead for 2011.
