Day 2 - June 1, 2012
Repentance of the people in The Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church so we can receive God’s blessings of wisdom, love, favor, and healing to serve.
Psalm 85:1, 2 (NIV1984)
1 You showed favor to your land, O LORD; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. 2 You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. Selah
Galatians 3: 13, 14 (NIV1984)
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
Thank you, Jesus, that you came to earth, lived among the people, and taught the New Covenant of God’s love, mercy, and grace. Thank you that you suffered, just for me, for this time in history. I believe that you are the only, beloved Son of God. I repent of my sins and make room for the Holy Spirit to fill me so the desire to sin flees. Please break any curses from past generations that are keeping me from my destiny. Please break word curses spoken by anyone so that I am free to make room for the ability to pursue my godly purpose on earth.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we ask that you break generational and word curses from The United Methodist Church that stifle growth and the ability to honor, worship, and serve you. We pray for The United Methodist Church congregations to make room for the Holy Spirit to work through us. Set us free to listen to your heart beating so we can be your voice, hands, and feet.
Thank you for restoring the people of The United Methodist Church to a standard of favor and blessings that will ripple across Indiana, the United States, and the world. Please send your forgiveness, healing, and restoration throughout the Indiana Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Thank you, Jesus, we want to bless, honor, and serve you. Amen.
