Community Outreach expanding before annual conference session

INDIANAPOLIS – United Methodist Metro Ministries will again take the lead for the Wednesday, June 5, Community Outreach the day before the Indiana Annual Conference Session in Indianapolis. Fletcher Place Community Center has been added as a new outreach during annual conference. Other ministry sites for volunteers to be involved include: Brightwood Community Center, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis, Neighbor-to-Neighbor repairs in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood and Roberts Park UMC downtown. The day will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost per volunteer will be $20 and will include a T-shirt and lunch. A total of 125 to 150 volunteers are needed for the outreach.
