Clergy Spouse Retreat Information
"Watch closely; I am preparing something new; it's happening now, even as I speak,
and you're about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert;
Waters will flow where there had been none."
-Isaiah 43:19 (The VOICE)
2018 Clergy Spouse Retreat - Thriving in the Wilderness
Friday-Sunday, September 28-30, 2018
Drury Plaza Hotel, Carmel, IN
The Thrive Team is excited to invite you to join us for our annual Clergy Spouse Retreat! Our theme for the retreat is "Thriving in the Wilderness" based on Isaiah 43:19. Being a clergy spouse can leave us parched and weary. How can we thrive in the dry times, and how can we help others as they go through the wilderness? Our prayer is that this retreat will be an oasis of support, strength, and rest for each of you. Our guest presenter this year is Amy Cox, singer and songwriter from Virginia. She served as the worship pastor at St. Joseph UMC in Fort Wayne, and has led worship at our Annual Conference and several other conference events. We will have breakout sessions Saturday morning, and there will be an optional book study led by John Downing on the book "Braving the Wilderness" by Brené Brown.
If you or someone you know would like a paper form for registration, please email us to let us know.
We will get something in the mail to them right away!
