    Newburgh church seeks director of student ministry

    Large, dynamic and growing 800+ member church seeks an energetic, creative, full-time youth director to focus on leadership of Middle and High School students. Key responsibilities will include cultivating relationships, developing weekly programming and working in a team. Candidates must possess a dynamic faith in Jesus Christ, a passion for teenagers, and a deep desire to disciple youth and their families. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to recruit, equip and lead volunteers, and possess teaching skills for a large group setting.     Indianapolis church seeks administrative assistant

    Wesley UMC (www.wesleyumcindy.org) on the west side of Indianapolis seeks an Administrative Assistant. This 30-hour-per-week position manages the church office, program and facility calendar, some bookkeeping, record keeping, church publications and maintaining the church’s website. Basic job requirements are experience in general office work, record keeping and computer skills.     Impact 2818 Outdoor Ministries seeks camping interns

    Camping Intern (weekday). The Indiana Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking a Camping Intern to work the 2012 camping season. This part-time position requires 20 to 25 hours-per-week, from March 1 through August 24. Hours are flexible between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. This part-time position requires 10 to 12 hours-per-week, from June 1 through August 5 (beginning with weekday training, followed by work on Sundays from 1 to 6 p.m. and flexible hours on Saturdays between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning June 9).     Community health organizer seeks part-time communications coordinator, admin. assistant

    Better Healthcare for Indiana (BHI), a non-profit community organizer supporting local coalitions to improve health and restrain medical spending, seeks a part-time (10 hours per week) communications coordinator and administrative assistant starting immediately. The job responsibilities include:

    • Coordinating communications to local coalitions and statewide organizations thru Constant Contact, e-newsletters and meeting scheduling using electronic tools.
    • Coordinating and supporting the development of PowerPoint presentations and other documents that educate local coalitions and the Public.
    • Maintaining all BHI financial records, including tax-related transactions and expense and payment transactions.
    • Supporting the BHI Director through meeting scheduling, website updating, presentations to local coalitions and organizing local coalition meetings.

    Indianapolis church seeks youth director

    Old Bethel United Methodist Church on the east side of Indianapolis is seeking part-time youth director who is interested in working in multi-cultural setting. Person must be comfortable leading groups of 25+ and demonstrate ability to recruit and train adult servants in guiding small group discussions. A strong faith and Biblical knowledge is required as well as the freedom this summer to lead the group to church camp and mission trip.
