Carmel church seeks part-time accompanist

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church has an opening for an accompanist for our worship services and choir practice. Applicant must be an accomplished piano accompanist for choir and vocals (soloist, ensemble), be able to fill in on organ if needed, have a musical background and understand and demonstrate the importance music plays in creating a meaningful worship experience. Downtown Indy church seeks part-time Program Coordinator for outreach ministry

INDIANAPOLIS – Roberts Park United Methodist Church has one ten-hour-per-week opening for a Program Coordinator to manage the church’s weekly feeding ministry – Soup’s On at Roberts Park. This special ministry feeds a nutritious meal to up to 300 people each Sunday afternoon. Fresh meals are prepared and served by volunteers from churches and organizations throughout the metropolitan Indianapolis area. This person will provide general oversight for Soup’s On by directing the volunteer leadership team, managing communication with internal and external partners, and coordinating fundraising efforts. Other responsibilities include coordinating procurement of food, managing Sunday activities with volunteer hosts, volunteer servers and Soup’s On Security to assure adequate coverage and sufficient food and other necessary supplies. The Program Coordinator also will be expected to engage the Roberts Park congregation and the broader community on behalf of Soups On to build relationships and create synergies that increase awareness and impact for this important ministry. The ideal candidate will have a servant’s mindset with a passion for hunger ministry and an understanding of urban ministries. A thoughtful theology of the issues surrounding downtown living is essential. An understanding of Methodism is helpful, but not required. The Preschool in Greenwood, Indiana is a private Christian preschool that is open to all preschool-age children of any faith in the greater Greenwood, Indiana community. Indianapolis church seeks childcare workers

North United Methodist Church is seeking qualified, experienced childcare workers for Sundays (7:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) and during other weekday evening events in our childcare rooms. Application with previous employment and two references are required. Candidate must be able to work Sunday mornings and pass a background check.
