Director of Worship Technologies Job Description

Mount Auburn United Methodist Church

Position Summary: The Director of Worship Technologies prepares and implements all audio and visual
components for Sunday morning services and all other events. This preparation and implementation
helps create an inviting worship experience which allows others to share in our mission of making
disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Terms of Employment: The Director of Worship Technologies is a part-time staff position.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Supervises: Volunteers who serve with the audio/visual ministry in worship and children’s worship

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Model agape love.
2. Design and implement a plan and recruit a team to provide audio-visual for worship services and
other gatherings.
3. Oversee the setup of the audio-visual equipment for worship services on Sunday and oversee
the tear-down of the audio-visual equipment after Sunday worship services.
4. Works with the worship planning team and prepares projection slides for Sunday services.
