Administrative Specialist- General Commission on the Status and Role of Women (GCSRW)
The Administration Specialist for Sexual Ethics and Advocacy is responsible for providing coordination for the Sexual Ethics and Advocacy area and essential administrative support for the Senior Director. Functions include coordinating logistics for sexual ethics training and events; preparation of powerpoint presentations and printed materials; managing staff calendar and scheduling meetings.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of people; demonstrated written and oral communication skills; demonstrated cultural sensitivity; ability to use discretion, judgment and initiative; demonstrated organizational skills; analytical skills; detail oriented, preferred knowledge of the United Methodist Church; and demonstrated experience on personal computer and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. The person will need to be able to be flexible and prioritize projects as well as manage multiple projects/priorities at one time.
