Tenderloin Dinner, First UMC, Frankton
The First UMC, Frankton, will be having their last tenderloin dinner on Saturday, October 15 from 4-7 p.m. at The Factory, 110 S. 8th St., Frankton (across from the church). Proceeds from the tenderloin dinner support the church's risk-taking missions and service. A portion of the proceeds from this dinner (30%) will be donated to support their work with the Red Bird Mission in Kentucky and the FFUMC Women's Fellowhship Scholarship Program. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Dinner includes a fresh-cut hand-breaded pork tenderloin, baked potato, green beans, and homemade dessert, plus drink.

How do we reconcile the tension between what we believe and what we vote for in November?
St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 126th St. & Gray Rd. in Carmel, is hosting a dinner and conversation Saturday, October 15, 5:15-7:15 p.m. to address this question as part of its Food for Thought Discussion series. Dr. Jeremiah Gibbs, Chaplain at University of Indianapolis will share his thoughts to start the conversation.
Food for Thought includes a light dinner followed by thought-provoking conversation. These programs are designed to build a culture of dialogue that reflects the neighbor-focused love of Jesus Christ.

Gibbs has served as Chaplain at the University of Indianapolis since 2009. He is a graduate of Eureka College with a Theological Studies degree in 2005 and earned a Master of Theological Studies from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary (2007) and a Ph.D. in Theology and Ethics at Garrett (2014). Besides leading campus ministry programming and providing pastoral care at UIndy, he is also the Director of the Lantz Center for Christian Vocation and Spiritual Formation

Shop 25 different craft vendors at the Arts & Crafts Marketplace Saturday, November 5 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 4780 E. 126th Street, in Carmel. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 shoppers will discover a variety of unique homemade items including various sizes of quilts, super hero & princess capes, handmade jewelry, doll clothes, cloth pumpkins, rope bowls, Kiwanis wooden toys, bath products, wood-turned items & more. Snacks & a light lunch will be available in the Candy Cane café and homemade treats will be for sale in the bake shop.

The First UMC Women's Fellowship, Frankton, will hold their annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday, November 19. Doors will open at 9 a.m. to the sights and smells of great food, gifts and treasures for the holiday season. This year, we will also open up to vendors. They include: Pampered Chef, Books for Fun, and Scentsy. The bazaar also will offer hand crafted jewelry, bake sale items, chicken and noodles, and scalloped chicken.
